Services are booked by appointment only.

 

New Clients

We're excited to welcome you! New clients can book online up to 6 weeks in advance. If your preferred time isn't available, we recommend joining our waitlist. All New clients are required to pay a $50 deposit on their first appointment. If you need to cancel your appointment before the 48-hr cancellation policy, your deposit will be refunded or applied to the rescheduled appointment. Please see the cancellation policies below for further details.

Returning Clients:

We always love seeing our returning clients! To ensure you get your preferred time, we recommend booking your next appointment at the end of your current session. You can book online up to 3 months in advance. All returning clients must have an updated card on file to secure their next appointment.

​

Waitlist:

If you can't find a suitable appointment, please join our waitlist. We'll notify you by text when a spot opens up, in the order you signed up. You'll have 24 hours from the time you receive the text to respond and secure your spot, or it will be offered to the next person on the list.

​

Parking:

Free parking is available along Marks Street and between Marks and Norah on Victoria Avenue. There is also free 2-hour parking across the street at Barb's Laundromat on Marks Street, as well as metered parking. Please note that the back lot is reserved for midwife clients, and calendar parking is enforced.

​

Entrance:

Look for the Midwives signage on the building. Use the door on Victoria Avenue, go down the stairs, and enter through the brown door.

​

Preparation:

Please arrive without makeup or jewelry.

 

Late Arrival Policy:

Many of our treatments are structured and time-specific, so arriving on time ensures we can deliver the level of care your skin deserves.

If you are running late, please let us know as soon as possible.

​

If we have not heard from you, we will send a text at 5 minutes past your appointment time and may attempt a phone call at 10 minutes. If you have not arrived or responded by 15 minutes, the appointment will be considered cancelled.

In this case, your deposit will be forfeited or the late cancellation fee will apply.

 

RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL/NO SHOW:

To protect appointment availability and ensure fairness for all clients, we require 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Appointments cancelled within 48 hours cannot be rescheduled and will be subject to the cancellation policy below.

​

New Clients

New client appointments require a deposit. If an appointment is cancelled or rescheduled with less than 48 hours’ notice, the deposit will be forfeited. Same-day cancellations always result in the loss of the deposit.

​

Returning Clients

Returning clients must also provide 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. All return client require a valid card on file to secure their following appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the scheduled service. Same-day cancellations are charged 50% of the service fee.

Exceptional Circumstances

If something unexpected arises, please reach out directly, and we will do our best to accommodate when possible.

 

Sick:

If you are feeling unwell or are exhibiting any symptoms of illness, whether or not they are mild or severe, you MUST cancel your booking. If you arrive to your appointment sick, you will be asked to leave and charged the appropriate cancellation fee. Day of cancellations will be subject to a 50% CANCELATION fee or forfeit of your deposit.
 

RETURNS & EXCHANGES

All products can be returned or exchanged within 7 days of purchase. Products MUST be unopened and in original packaging condition in order to be accepted. I encourage you to ask for samples prior to committing to a full product purchase. Samples are available for a small fee.

SANITATION & STERILIZATION

​

A clean safe beauty environment is top priority at Michele Renee Nail Design (Michele Renee Beauty). Michele always follows outlined Health Canada guidelines and protocols to clean all tools, equipment, and surfaces. Tools are never reused before they are thoroughly cleaned. If at any time an item cannot be thoroughly cleaned after use it is disposed of.

 

PAYMENT METHOD

Cash is preferred, and accept Cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Interac. Taxes and gratuities are not included in the service price.

 

PRICING

 

Service and product pricing is subject to change at any time.

 

PROMOTIONS & PACKAGES

 

Specials/Promo/Sales can not be used or combined with any other offer, promotions or online vouchers. Promotions and packages are NON-REFUNDABLE after purchasing. If you decide you no longer want to use the package as, you will receive a credit of the remaining value that can be used toward other future appointments.

 

LOST / MISPLACED ITEMS

 

Michele Renee Nail Design (Michele Renee Beauty) is not responsible for any lost or misplaced items. You may be asked to remove jewelry for some treatments. Michele Renee Nail Design (Michele Renee Beauty) does not assume liability for lost or forgotten personal items. If an item is forgotten and/or lost it is not Michele Renee Nail Design's (Michele Renee Beauty's) responsibility to reimburse or replace your item.

PURCHASED GIFT CARDS & PROMOTIONAL GIFT CARDS

Purchased:

• No Expiry: Purchased gift cards never expire. Take your time—you or your lucky recipient can book a service or purchase products whenever it’s convenient.

• Transferable: Gift cards can be used by anyone—just let us know the original purchaser's name or show us the digital/physical card at checkout.

• Not Redeemable for Cash: Gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash or used to tip service providers.

• Non-Refundable: All gift card sales are final.

• Can Be Used on Services & Retail: Gift cards can be used toward any service or retail product unless otherwise specified.

• Booking with a Gift Card: Please let us know you’ll be using a gift card when booking your appointment, especially for new clients.

Promotional gift cards:

are our little way of saying thank you, celebrating seasonal events, or surprising you during special promos. Here's what to know:

• Expiration Date Applies: Promotional gift cards have an expiry date and must be used by the date indicated. They’re not valid after that—no exceptions.

• Lost cards: Lost cards are no longer valid. Card must be presented and applied at the service.

• Not for Retail: These cards are for services only unless explicitly stated otherwise.

• One Per Person: Only one promotional gift card may be used per person per visit.

• Non-Transferable: Promotional cards are for the intended recipient only and cannot be transferred or shared.

• No Cash Value: Promotional gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash, used as a tip, or used to purchase retail products unless otherwise specified.

• Cannot Be Combined: Promotional gift cards cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts, offers, or packages.

The goal is to always ensure you are an optimal candidate for treatment(s) and to identify if a treatment needs to be altered to suit your needs. Your health and safety is my top priority - therefore it is mandatory to fill out all required forms and to be 100% honest in all answers. All medical information will be kept confidential and Michele Renee Nail Design (Michele Renee Beauty) abides by all privacy laws.

 

The esthetician of Michele Renee Nail Design (Michele Renee Beauty) may reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for inappropriate behavior, illness or conditions listed as contraindications for services or as deemed necessary. The client also has the right to stop the treatments at any time. The esthetician and Michele Renee Nail Design (Michele Renee Beauty) assumes no responsibility for any disclosed or undisclosed illness or personal injury.
